For Renters
First, create a free account and complete your profile. Browse available cars, select your dates, and submit a booking request. For "Instant Book" listings, your booking is confirmed immediately. Otherwise, wait for the host to approve your request. Once approved, complete payment and coordinate pickup with the host.
"Instant Book" allows you to book a car immediately without waiting for host approval. When you see the "Instant Book" badge on a listing, you can confirm your booking right away, and the dates will be automatically blocked on the calendar.
You can cancel a booking from your "My Trips" page. Click on the booking and select "Cancel Booking." Please note that cancellation policies may apply, and refunds depend on the timing of your cancellation. Always communicate with the host if you need to make changes.
Before driving, thoroughly inspect the car and take photos of any existing damage. Share these photos with the host through our messaging system. If you notice significant damage that wasn't disclosed, contact the host immediately and consider contacting support if the issue isn't resolved.
Yes, if the car is available for the extended dates. Contact the host through our messaging system to request an extension. If they agree, you can modify your booking or create a new booking for the additional dates.
For Hosts
Create a free account, then click "New Listing" in the navigation menu. Fill out the form with your car's details: make, model, year, features, daily rate, and photos. Add a description highlighting what makes your car special. Once submitted, your listing goes live immediately.
After a rental is completed, payment is automatically processed to your PayPal account. You can track your earnings in your dashboard under "My Earnings." Payouts typically take 1-3 business days to appear in your PayPal account.
"Instant Book" can increase your bookings by allowing renters to book immediately without waiting for approval. This is great if you trust the platform's review system and want more bookings. You can always decline bookings if needed, though frequent declines may affect your listing's visibility.
Go to your listing's "Manage Availability" page to block dates when your car isn't available. You can block individual dates or date ranges. The calendar automatically blocks dates when bookings are confirmed.
Take photos of your car's condition before and after each rental. If damage occurs, document it with photos and contact the renter through our messaging system. If you can't resolve the issue, contact our support team. We recommend verifying that your insurance covers peer-to-peer rentals.
Research similar cars on the platform to see competitive rates. Consider your car's age, condition, features, and location. You can adjust your pricing anytime. Start with a competitive rate to get initial bookings and reviews, then adjust based on demand.
Payments
We accept payments through PayPal. You can pay with your PayPal account balance, credit card, or debit card linked to your PayPal account. PayPal provides secure payment processing and buyer protection.
Payment is authorized when you confirm a booking, but the funds are held securely until after the rental period is complete. This protects both renters and hosts.
Refunds depend on the cancellation timing and circumstances. If you cancel well in advance, you may receive a full or partial refund. Cancellations close to the rental date may be subject to fees. Contact support for specific refund requests.
KREWSR charges a service fee on each booking. This fee is included in the total price shown to renters. Hosts receive the agreed-upon daily rate, and the service fee covers platform maintenance, payment processing, and customer support.
Safety
KREWSR does not provide insurance. Car owners should verify that their insurance policy covers peer-to-peer rentals. Renters should check if their personal auto insurance or credit card provides coverage for rental cars. Always confirm insurance coverage before booking. Visit our Safety page for more information.
Go to your account settings and select "Verify Identity." Upload a clear photo of a government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, or national ID). Our team reviews verification requests, and verified users receive a badge on their profile.
